Bangladesh
Bangladesh has a coastline of 710 Km. The marine fishery contributes to only 22% of the total fish production in the country. The marine fishery can be broadly classified into two types - the industrial fishery (mechanized sector) that includes medium and large trawlers. The artisanal or small scale fishery consists of motorized and non-motorised craft.
